Biosourced polyethylene (biosourced PE) is a plastic produced from ethanol, obtained by fermenting plant matter such as sugarcane or corn. It has the same properties as traditional polyethylene, with the added advantage of a renewable origin, thus helping to reduce the carbon footprint through the use of non-fossil resources. Properties & Characteristics Renewable properties Made from renewable raw materials, biosourced PE helps to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
