HIPS, or High Impact Polystyrene, is a variation of PS (Polystyrene) that contains butadiene. It offers increased flexibility and resistance compared to GPPS, although it is less transparent. Properties & Characteristics Low residual monomer HIPS enhances the chemical stability and purity of the final product, but also reduces the risk of toxicity, essential for applications in the medical and food sectors. Easy processing Enables the construction of complex parts with high-quality surface finishes at lower cost.
