XZ 89178.01 Experimental Recycled Polyethylene Resin is a low density polyethylene resin with a fractional melt index especially designed for collation shrink film applications. This resin is formulated containing 85% post-consumer recycled plastics from household sources, specifically designed to be used on core layer of co-extruded films. This grade is not food contact compliant. Main Characteristics Good stiffness-toughness balance for core layer Good shrink performance
Melt Flow Index (MFI) at 230°C / 2.16 kg, density, polymer melting point and tensile strength. The full Technical Data Sheet (TDS) is available on request.
Suited to injection moulding and forming applications such as rigid containers, caps and engineering parts that demand high stiffness and dimensional stability.
